Common use of COMMENCEMENT AND COMPLETION OF SERVICES Clause in Contracts

COMMENCEMENT AND COMPLETION OF SERVICES. A. Contractor shall begin providing the services under the requirements of this Agreement upon receipt of written Notice to Proceed from City. Such notice shall be deemed to have occurred three (3) calendar days after it has been deposited in the regular United States mail. Contractor shall complete the Services within the time limits set forth in the Scope of Services or as mutually determined in writing by the Parties. B. When City determines that Contractor has satisfactorily completed the Services, City shall give Contractor written Notice of Final Acceptance. Upon receipt of such notice, Contractor shall not incur any further costs under this Agreement. Contractor may request this determination of completion be made when, in its opinion, the Services have been satisfactorily completed. If so requested by the contractor, City shall make this determination within fourteen (14) days of its receipt of such request.
