Common use of Commencement of Concession Period Clause in Contracts

Commencement of Concession Period. 4.6.1 The date on which all the Conditions Precedent specified in Article 4.1 & Article 4.2 are satisfied or waived, as the case may be, and each Party has issued a Compliance Certificate to the other Party towards fulfillment of all Conditions Precedent required thereof, shall be the Appointed Date which shall be the date of commencement of the Concession Period (“Appointed Date”). For the avoidance of doubt, the Parties agree that the Concessionaire may, upon occurrence of the Appointed Date hereunder, by notice convey the particulars thereof to the Authority, and shall thereupon be entitled to commence construction of the Project.
