Common use of Comments and Review Clause in Contracts

Comments and Review. Information of a derogatory nature, except material mentioned in the second paragraph of this section, shall not be placed in a personnel file unless and until the affected unit member is given notice and an opportunity to review and comment on that material. A unit member who disagrees with the material shall have the right to obtain a review by the appropriate division head, whose decision shall be final. A unit member shall have the right to have his/her own written comments attached to any such derogatory statement before the item is placed in the personnel file.
