Commitment Policy. DukeEngage Programs are designed as a full-time commitment. Each Program has established start and end dates. Students may not arrange to arrive after their Program’s official start date or leave before the Program’s official end date and must be present for and participate fully in all elements of their Program as set out in the Program description.
Commitment Policy. Being a member of a Prior Lake Travel baseball team requires commitment and dedication. Players and families with major conflicts need to be aware of the commitment level required and make the appropriate decision. If you are selected for a Prior Lake Travel Baseball team you commit to participating in all practices, games, and tournaments, and you acknowledge and agree to the following consequences should you fail to meet that commitment: ▪ If a player misses practice but is not injured or sick. This must be communicated in advance to the head coach: o 9U-14U ▪ 1st offense – Coaches may use their discretion to not penalize a player if there is no past history of absences and the reason for missing the practice is valid, (i.e. important family functions), otherwise 2nd offense consequences apply ▪ 2nd offense – Bat last next game ▪ 3rd offense – Bat last next game and 2 less defensive innings than all other players ▪ 4th offense – Sit out 1 full game for each offense (dressed in uniform sitting on the bench, warm-up with the team, participate positively with the team by warming up pitchers, retrieving foul balls, etc.) ▪ 5 or more offenses of missing practices may lose eligibility to participate in the program next year. o 15U
