Commitment to return Sample Clauses

Commitment to return. The faculty member must agree in writing to return to University employment for at least one (1) academic year following utilization of paid parental leave. A faculty member who fails to fulfill this commitment will be responsible for repayment of the portion of the parental leave utilized.
Commitment to return. An employee must agree in writing to return to University employment for at least one academic year (calendar year for non instructional faculty) following participation in parental leave or reimburse the University for salary received during the leave period.
Commitment to return. The faculty member must agree in writing in advance to return to University employment for at least one (1) regular (Fall or Spring) semester following utilization of paid parental leave (the “required semester”). A faculty member who for any reason fails to return to work as promised and/or remains employed full-time for the entire required semester will be responsible for repayment of all salary received during the period of paid parental leave. Faculty members who are not employed at FAU during the required semester due to Non- Reappointment or layoff, or are unable because of death or certified disability, are not expected to satisfy this repayment requirement.
Commitment to return. The employee must agree in writing to return to University employment for at least one academic year (i.e., consecutive fall and spring (or spring and fall) semesters) following participation in the program or reimburse UCF within 60 days. This time does not include time awarded for a sabbatical or other type of leave. For example, it would be possible for a nine-month employee to take a sabbatical and then opt for the paid parental leave program. In that case, the employee would need to return to active university service for one year for each of the programs; in this example, two academic years.
Commitment to return. A teacher who accepts a sabbatical leave must agree to teach as assigned in the School District for two (2) years following the sabbatical leave year or repay the School District the sabbatical salary received.
