Commitment to Diversity in Government Contracting The State of Florida is committed to supporting its diverse business industry and population through ensuring participation by minority-, women-, wartime-, and service-disabled veteran business enterprises in the economic life of the State. The State of Florida Mentor Protégé Program connects minority-, women-, wartime-, and service- disabled veteran business enterprises with private corporations for business development mentoring. We strongly encourage firms doing business with the State of Florida to consider this initiative. Upon request, the Contractor shall report to the Department, spend with certified and other minority business enterprises. These reports will include the period covered, the name, minority code and Federal Employer Identification Number of each minority Vendor utilized during the period, commodities and services provided by the minority business enterprise, and the amount paid to each minority Vendor on behalf of each purchasing agency ordering under the terms of this Contract.
Prohibition on Contracts with Companies Boycotting Israel To the extent that Texas Government Code, Chapter 2271 applies to this Agreement, PROVIDER certifies that (a) it does not currently boycott Israel; and (b) it will not boycott Israel during the term of this Agreement. PROVIDER acknowledges this Agreement may be terminated and payment withheld if this certification is inaccurate.
PROHIBITION ON CONTRACTS WITH COMPANIES BOYCOTTING ISRAEL CERTIFICATION As required by Chapter 2271 of the Texas Local Government Code the Contractor must verify that it 1) does not boycott Israel; and 2) will not boycott Israel during the term of the Contract. Action to Protect the Government’s Interest 1. The Performer agrees to execute or to have executed and promptly deliver to DARPA all instruments necessary to (i) establish or confirm the rights the Government has throughout the world in those Subject Inventions to which the Performer elects to retain title, and (ii) convey title to DARPA when requested under Paragraph C of this Article and to enable the Government to obtain patent protection throughout the world in that Subject Invention.
Controlled Government Data The Disclosing Party's Controlled Government Data, if any, will be identified in a separate technical document.
Application of Collective Agreement (a) The operation of this Article shall not be construed as a violation of the posting and/or scheduling provisions of Articles 7: Hours of Work and Scheduling Provisions and 14: Promotions, Transfers & Vacancies.
Relations between Governments The provisions of this Agreement shall be applied irrespective of whether or not the Contracting Parties have diplomatic or consular relations.
Enforcement of Certain Federal Firearms Laws Prohibited In accordance with House Bill 957, Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., if Texas Government Code, Section 2.101 is applicable to Contractor, Contractor certifies that it is not ineligible to receive state grant funds pursuant to Texas Government Code, Section 2.103.
USE OF CONTRACT BY OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES At the option of the Contractor, the use of the contract resulting from this solicitation may be extended to other governmental agencies, including the State of Florida, its agencies, political subdivisions, counties, and cities. Each governmental agency allowed by the Contractor to use this contract shall do so independent of any other governmental entity. Each agency shall be responsible for its own purchases and shall be liable only for goods or services ordered, received and accepted. No agency receives any liability by virtue of this bid and subsequent contract award.
