Common use of Commitments of the Government Clause in Contracts

Commitments of the Government. 9.1 The Government will honour its commitments in accordance with the provisions of the Standard Basic Assistance Agreement (SBAA) of 26 January 1976. The Government shall apply the provisions of the Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations agencies to UNDP’s property, funds, and assets and to its officials and consultants. In addition the Government will accord to UNDP and its officials and to other persons performing services on behalf of UNDP, the privileges, immunities and facilities as set out in the SBAA.
