Common use of Committee Representation Clause in Contracts

Committee Representation. 35.1 The University encourages employee participation on University Committees, provided the employee obtains approval from the Chief of Security or his/her designate prior to attending such meetings, and shall suffer no loss of regular wages as a result of such attendance. 35.2 The need for the University to provide service shall at all times take precedence over Committee obligations.
