Common use of Community Interest Clause in Contracts

Community Interest. ‌ The parties acknowledge the interest of the general community in the medical care offered by the Hospital and its employees and declare their intent that this humanitarian service shall not be interrupted by reason of any dispute or disagreement among the Union, the Hospital or its employees. The purpose of this Agreement is to establish and maintain harmony and cooperation between the Hospital and the employees by setting forth the complete understanding between the County and Union with respect to wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment of such employees, and to provide an orderly procedure for the prompt and fair disposition of any grievances that might arise, thereby assuring patients at the Hospital that, with the flexibility in the use of Hospital personnel provided herein, they will receive efficient and uninterrupted care at all time.
