Orientation Sample Clauses
Orientation. The Employer shall provide planned and paid Orientation Programs of such content and duration as it deems appropriate taking into consideration the needs of the Employer and the Nurses involved. Such Nurses will not be considered part of core staffing during their Orientation Program nor will they be provided with primary assignments.
Orientation. The Employer will provide casual employees with orientation to all the wards, units and programs mutually agreed in the employee’s letter of appointment.
Orientation. The objectives of orientation shall be to familiarize newly hired employees with the objectives and philosophy of the Hospital and its services, to orient new employees to Hospital policies and procedures, and to instruct new employees as to their functions and responsibilities to enable them to practice independently. Employees will be oriented through a combination of instructional conferences, floor and/or shift work.

The objective of orientation shall be to familiarize newly hired nurses with the objectives and philosophy of the Medical Center and nursing services, to orient nurses to Medical Center policies and procedures and to instruct nurses as to their functions and responsibilities as defined in job descriptions and competencies.
Orientation. A Shop Xxxxxxx designated by the Union will be allowed to introduce themselves to new employees either on shift or off shift. Such time will be permitted after notifying the manager or supervisor, will not exceed ten (10) minutes and shall not unduly interfere with the employee’s regular duties. A Union Representative shall also be entitled to attend any such meeting. This meeting is expected to take place during the employee’s first scheduled work week. The Shop Xxxxxxx or Union Representative may request from the Store Manager a list of new hires each week. Such list will be provided in a timely manner.
Orientation. When new employees are hired, they shall be given an orientation packet provided by the Union, and all new employees shall be introduced to Union leadership at the worksite during that orientation. Union leadership shall be given the opportunity to address new hires during this orientation for a reasonable amount of time to be determined by the parties at the local level; and the Employer shall provide a private office or conference room to hold the meeting, if available.
Orientation. A representative of the Association shall be provided a reasonable amount of time at a group orientation program to summarize the role of the Association, distribute the contract and provide a list of Association Stewards to new employees.
Orientation. The Department/Agency shall provide an orientation program for new employees; one (1) hour shall, upon written request of the Union, be allotted to the Union and to the new employee(s) during which time a Union representative shall discuss the Union with the employee.
Orientation. A. During any regularly scheduled orientation session for new employees, a Union staff member or designee shall be given the opportunity to meet with bargaining unit employees for fifteen (15) minutes for orientation of the employees to the Contract and the Union.
B. In work locations not accessible to regularly scheduled departmental orientation, each new bargaining unit employee shall be given the opportunity to meet with a union representative for fifteen (15) minutes during normal working hours for orientation to the Contract and the Union.
