Common use of COMMUTE TRIP REDUCTION AND PARKING Clause in Contracts

COMMUTE TRIP REDUCTION AND PARKING. 24.1 The Employer will continue to encourage but not require employees covered by this Agreement to use alternate means of transportation to commute to and from work in order to reduce traffic congestion, improve air quality and reduce the need for parking. 24.2 Agencies may provide commute trip reduction incentives consistent with agency policies and within available resources. 24.3 The Employer may approve telework agreements consistent with agency policy as well as business and customer service needs. 24.4 During the term of this Agreement, agency-administered parking rates charged to employees who work at facilities located off the Capitol Campus will not be increased from the facility parking rates in existence as of June 30, 2005. 24.5 The Department of Enterprise Services will manage parking on the Capitol Campus in accordance with RCW 46.08.172.
