Company’s Right To Provide Release of Obligations in Lieu of Non-Competition Period Payments. Notwithstanding any of the foregoing provisions of this Section 9, Company reserves the right to release Employee from Employee’s obligations under Section 7 of this Agreement at any time during the Restricted Period, in full or in sufficient part to allow Employee to accept an opportunity that would otherwise be prohibited under this Agreement, at which time Company’s payment obligations under this Section 9 shall cease immediately and Employee shall not be entitled to any further such payments or compensation.
