Common use of Compensation and Liability Insurance Clause in Contracts

Compensation and Liability Insurance. The Parties intend that Subcontractor shall provide the maximum insurance coverage for Contractor and Owner as additional insureds on Subcontractor’s insurance policies (“Additional Insureds” )as allowed by law. Subcontractor shall maintain the coverage and endorsements for the statutory period in which claims may be filed or brought against Subcontractor, Owner, or Contractor in connection with Work under Civil Code and Code of Civil Procedures of the jurisdiction in which Work is performed. Before commencing with the work, Subcontractor shall procure and maintain, at its own expense, until completion and final acceptance of the work at least the following insurance from an insurance company satisfactory to the Contractor.
