Owner May Suspend Work. At any time and without cause, Owner may suspend the Work or any portion thereof for a period of not more than ninety (90) consecutive days by notice in writing to Contractor and Architect which will fix the date on which Work will be resumed. Contractor shall resume the Work on the date so fixed. Contractor shall be allowed an adjustment in the Contract Price or an extension of the Contract Times, or both, directly attributable to any such suspension if Contractor makes a Claim therefor as provided in this Agreement.

At any time and without cause, OWNER may suspend the Work or any portion thereof for a period of not more than ninety (90) days by notice in writing to DESIGN/BUILDER which will fix the date on which Work will be resumed. DESIGN/BUILDER shall resume the Work on the date so fixed. DESIGN/BUILDER may be allowed an adjustment in the Contract Price or an extension of the Contract Times, or both, directly attributable to any such suspension if DESIGN/BUILDER makes a claim therefor as provided in Article 9. If requested by DESIGN/BUILDER in connection with the performance of the Work, OWNER shall suspend operations of the plant and OWNER shall be responsible for any and all costs associated with such suspension.

CONTRACTOR may be allowed an adjustment in the Contract Price or an extension of the Contract Times, or both, directly attributable to any such suspension if CONTRACTOR makes a Claim therefor as provided in paragraph 10.05 and provided that CONTRACTOR was not in any part responsible for the suspension.

Such trunks shall connect the End Office ECI utilizes to provide Telephone Exchange Service and Switched Exchange Access to its Customers in a given LATA to the access Tandem(s) Verizon utilizes to provide Exchange Access in such LATA. 9.2.4 Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be used solely for the transmission and routing of Exchange Access to allow ECI’s Customers to connect to or be connected to the interexchange trunks of any Interexchange Carrier which is connected to a Verizon access Tandem.
