Common use of Compensation for Academic Clause in Contracts

Compensation for Academic. Unit Heads shall be based on their academic year base salary. That base salary shall be supplemented by an annual stipend for administrative duties in the range of $5,000 to $30,000, as recommended by the Xxxx and approved by the Xxxxxxx, based upon the criteria developed pursuant to the "Academic Unit Head Stipend Criteria" Memorandum of Understanding (1986-1989 Agreement) (see Appendix 2, p. 177). That base salary shall also be supplemented by a 2/9 supplement for full summer responsibility, 1/9 supplement for partial summer responsibility, or no supplement for no summer responsibility as recommended by the Xxxx and approved by the Xxxxxxx.
