Common use of Compensation for Basic Services Clause in Contracts

Compensation for Basic Services. The DISTRICT shall compensate the CONSULTANT for the performance of all Services required under this AGREEMENT an amount not to exceed FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS AND NO CENTS ($500,000.00). Payments will be based on monthly invoices, which will set forth the hours and dates actually worked and expenses incurred during the billing period. The billing rates indicated herein will be multiplied by the actual hours for each position to arrive at the total fee for each month. The CONSULTANT will not exceed the not to exceed fee without prior written authorization of the DISTRICT.
