Compensation for Essential Employees. A. Essential, Non-Exempt Skilled Service Employees who report in accordance with their departmental plan will be credited for two hours for each hour worked. If, at the end of the pay period in which an emergency closing occurred, the employee had worked more than 40 hours, the employee will be paid at time and one-half for each hour over forty or receive compensatory leave, whichever the employee chooses.
