Compensation for Temporary Additional. Paid Assignments Compensation for temporary additional paid assignments (unless otherwise specified) shall be based upon the percentages shown of Column C, Step 12 of the current SLEA Salary Schedule. Members shall receive the additional compensation prorated on a monthly basis unless otherwise specified.
a. High School
(1) Academic Department Chairperson (1 - 15 sections) 3.4% (16 - 25 sections) 3.6% (26+ - sections) 3.8% Counseling Department Chair (If over 2.0 FTE counselors) 3.4% Special Education Department Chair (If 3.0 FTE or more special education teachers – 1 additional release period all year) ELD Coordinator (1 additional release periods all year) Special Education Case Managers (1 additional release period all year) SLC Leads (a stipend based on sections above or 1 release period all year) Each high school shall receive an allocation which includes the applicable COLA for APAD/Academic stipends. The applicable COLA shall be the percentage applied annually to the regular salary schedule.
