Completing Probationary Period. Upon satisfactory completion of the probationary period, the employee shall be considered as having satisfactorily demonstrated qualifications for the position, shall gain regular status, and shall be so informed by the appropriate supervisor. Upon completion of the employee’s probationary period, the employee will be eligible for advancement to the next step of the salary schedule based upon merit and ability. (copied from Article 15)
