Common use of Completion of the Work Clause in Contracts

Completion of the Work. The Commissioner, after declaring the Contractor in default, may then have the Work completed by such means and in such manner, by contract with or without public letting, or otherwise, as he/she may deem advisable, utilizing for such purpose such of the Contractor's plant, materials, equipment, tools, and supplies remaining on the Site, and also such Subcontractors, as he/she may deem advisable.
