Compliance with all Applicable Laws and Regulations. The Research Institute shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, export control regulations, in connection with the Collaborative Research and its respective activities under this Agreement, including, but not limited to, recruitment, hiring, employment, and termination of its employees involved in the Collaborative Research. In case the Collaborative Research involves any research requiring: (i) the consent/cooperation of third parties; (ii) special degree of care required by applicable laws in handling personal information; or (iii) any procedures required by laws and regulations such as bioethical or safety measures, the Research Institute shall obtain any such required consent/cooperation of third parties, handle personal information with the required degree of care in compliance with applicable laws, and carry out the legally required procedures, including, but not limited to, obtaining the approval of external and internal ethics committees
