Common use of Compliance with Applicable Reliability Standards Clause in Contracts

Compliance with Applicable Reliability Standards. In accordance with Article 1.6 of this GIA, the Interconnection Customer shall comply with all Applicable Reliability Standards for the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities and the Generating Facility. The Distribution Provider will not assume any responsibility for complying with mandatory reliability standards for such facilities and offers no opinion as to whether the Interconnection Customer must register with NERC. If required to register with NERC, the Interconnection Customer shall be responsible for complying with all Applicable Reliability Standards for the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities and the Generating Facility up to the Point of Change of Ownership, as described in Section 5 of Attachment 2 of this GIA.
