Common use of Compliance with State, Federal, and Local Law Clause in Contracts

Compliance with State, Federal, and Local Law. It is agreed and understood that the City, being a unit of local government, that this Agreement and all actions, procedures, and processes under this Agreement are subject to all of the statutes and ordinances governing the conduct of units of local government including, but not limited to, requirements for bidding and contracting for the provision of goods and the rendition of services, compliance with equal employment opportunity and affirmative action requirements applicable to the City or any other party.
