Common use of Compliance with Xxxxx-Xxxxx Act Clause in Contracts

Compliance with Xxxxx-Xxxxx Act. (applies to prime construction Agreements in excess of $2,000) 1. The Consultant shall comply with 40 U.S.C. 3141-3144 and 40 U.S.C. 3146-3148, as supplemented by 29 C.F.R. pt. 3. 2. All laborers and mechanics employed by Consultant or subcontractors on construction work assisted under this Work Authorization, and subject to the provisions of the federal acts and regulations listed in this paragraph, shall be paid wages at rates not less than those prevailing on similar construction in the locality as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Xxxxx-Xxxxx Act.
