Common use of Comprehensive Leave at Termination Clause in Contracts

Comprehensive Leave at Termination. Employees leaving municipal service with accrued comprehensive leave shall be paid the amount of accrued comprehensive leave to the date of termination. Payment for accrued comprehensive leave shall be at the employee’s current rate of pay and shall occur at the next regular pay date in the payroll period of the date of termination. The Town Manager, at his/her sole discretion, shall have the ability to approve other terms and conditions affecting payout of comprehensive leave at termination for any employee leaving municipal service.

Payment for accrued comprehensive leave shall be at the employee’s current rate of pay pay, or as required by law, and shall occur at the next regular pay date in the payroll period of the date of termination. The Town Manager, at his/her sole discretion, shall have the ability to approve other terms and conditions affecting payout of comprehensive leave at termination for any employee leaving municipal service.
