Common use of Computer Use and Social Media Policy Clause in Contracts

Computer Use and Social Media Policy. The Florida Department of Elder Affairs has implemented a Social Media Policy, in addition to its Computer Use Policy, which applies to all employees, contracted employees, consultants, OPS and volunteers, including all personnel affiliated with third parties, such as, but not limited to, Sub-Recipients and subcontractors. Any entity that uses the D O E A ’s computer resource systems must comply with the DOEA’s policy regarding social media. Social Media includes, but is not limited to blogs, podcasts, discussion forums, Wikis, RSS feeds, video sharing, social networks like MySpace, Facebook and Twitter, as well as content sharing networks such as flickr and YouTube. This policy is available on the DOEA’s website at: xxxx://xxxxxxxxxxxx.xxxxx.xx.xx/doea/financial.php.
