Concerns Between Reviews. 1. If a student, chair, staff or faculty member raises a concern regarding an Adjunct Faculty member’s performance to the University, the Chair (or designee) will notify the Adjunct Faculty member within ten (10) business days, unless unusual or complex circumstances exist. 2. Following discussion of the issue, should documentation of the alleged performance issue be placed in the Adjunct Faculty member’s performance evaluation file, the Adjunct Faculty member will be notified and within ten (10) days may submit a response that will be placed in the file.

Should student evaluations indicate possible performance issues, the department chair or direct supervisor, or a full-time faculty member designated by the chair, will schedule a meeting with the Adjunct Faculty member to discuss the evaluations and to discuss ways that the Adjunct Faculty member may improve her/his performance.
