Conditions during DSLP. a) During the period of the leave there shall be no sick leave coverage or accumulation, but other benefits may be continued at the discretion of the teacher with the teacher paying the full cost of premiums. Long Term Disability coverage shall be based on the annual salary the teacher last earned prior to the leave period. The arrangement for benefits must be made prior to the commencement of leave and will govern the full period of the leave. In any event, benefits will be reinstated when the teacher returns from leave at the same levels held by the teacher prior to commencement of leave.
