Conditions for Payment. The supplemental benefit provided for in Article 15.1(B) is payable under the following circumstances: (1) During the first twenty (20) working days of such disability, the employee shall receive the supplemental benefit. (2) Thereafter, the Director of Administration and Finance may, at his/her sole discretion, (which discretion shall not be subject to arbitration), grant additional supplemental benefit. (3) An employee whose workers’ compensation benefit is reduced pursuant to Chapter 440 F.S. shall not be eligible to receive a supplemental benefit.
