Conditions on Funding. 4.5.1 The Hospital will: use the Funding only for the purpose of providing the Hospital Services in accordance with the terms of this Agreement and any amendments to this Agreement, whether by funding letter or otherwise; not use in-year Funding for major building renovations or construction, or for direct expenses relating to research projects; and, plan for and maintain an Annual Balanced Operating Budget.
