Conditions Related to Temporary Transfers. (1) A support service employee may be temporarily transferred due to unusual circumstances such as a position being vacated by another member and prior to its being filled. The temporary transfer shall not exceed thirty (30) days. (2) Employees who have been temporarily assigned will not lose any salary should the position be at a lower rate of pay. If the position to which the member has been transferred is regularly paid at a higher rate of pay, then the member shall receive the higher rate of pay from the fifth day the member reported for the new assignment. (3) The district will make every reasonable attempt to secure substitutes for all absent staff.
