Common use of Conference Committee Clause in Contracts

Conference Committee. The Employer, jointly with elected representatives of the nurses covered by this Agreement, shall establish a Conference Committee to ▇▇▇▇▇▇ improved communications between the Employer and the nursing staff. Topics of discussion shall consist of mutual problems regarding nursing personnel. The committee shall be advisory only. The committee shall meet on a quarterly basis and shall consist of up to five (5) representatives of the Employer and up to seven (7) representatives of the nursing staff plus the WSNA Local Unit Chairperson and the WSNA Nursing Representative. All members of the committee shall be employees of the Hospital except for the WSNA Nursing Representative. Hours spent in attendance at the Conference Committee shall be paid for at the nurses’ applicable rate of pay.

Topics of discussion shall consist of mutual problems regarding nursing personnel. The committee shall be advisory only. The committee shall meet on a quarterly basis and more frequently as mutually agreed and shall consist of up to five (5) representatives of the Employer and up to seven eight (7) 8) representatives of the EHCS nursing staff plus the WSNA Local Unit Chairperson and the WSNA Nursing Representative. All members of the committee shall be employees of the Hospital except for the WSNA Nursing Representative. Hours spent in attendance at the Conference Committee shall be paid for at the nurses’ applicable rate of pay. Topics of discussion shall consist of mutual problems regarding EHCS services or WSNA bargaining unit nurses, as determined by the committee members.
