Common use of Confidentiality Period Clause in Contracts

Confidentiality Period. Confidential Information disclosed pursuant to this Article IX will be subject to the terms of this Article IX for three years from the initial date of disclosure of such Confidential Information. In addition, at the request of a Party on a case-by-case basis, prior to the disclosure of any particular Confidential Information, the Parties shall discuss whether a longer confidentiality period is appropriate with respect to such Confidential Information.
