Common use of Confirmation of Discharge Clause in Contracts

Employees who are discharged will have their discharge and reason confirmed in writing and their pay will be mailed by registered mail to their last known address within twenty-four (24) hours (Saturdays, Sundays and General Holidays excluded) from the time of their discharge.
