Conflict in Contract Documents. Conflicts, inconsistencies or ambiguities in the Contract Documents shall be resolved by the Architect and/or Owner’s Project Manager in accordance with Article 3.1.9 of the General Conditions; where conflicts or inconsistencies arise between the Drawings and the Specifications, in resolving such conflicts or inconsistencies, the Architect will be governed generally by the following standards: the Drawings are intended to describe matters relating to placement, type, quantity and the like; the Specifications are intended to describe matters relating to quality, materials, compositions, manufacturers and the like. If conflicts exist between portions of the Contract Documents regarding the quality of any item, product, equipment or materials, unless otherwise directed or authorized by the District, the Contractor shall provide the item, product, equipment or material of the highest or more stringent quality or quantity.

  • CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND CONFLICT OF TERMS This Centralized Contract is composed of the documents set forth below. In the case of any conflict among these documents, conflicts shall be resolved in the order of precedence indicated below.
