Common use of Conformity of production Clause in Contracts

Conformity of production. The conformity of production procedures shall comply with those set out in the Agreement, Appendix 2 (E/ECE/324-E/ECE/TRANS/505/Rev.2) with the following requirements: 8.1. Every vehicle approved under this Regulation shall conform to the vehicle type approved, as regards features contributing to the protection of the occupants of the vehicle in the event of a frontal collision. 8.2. The holder of the approval shall ensure that for each type of vehicle at least the tests concerning the taking of measurements are carried out. 8.3. The Type Approval Authority which has granted type approval may at any time verify the conformity control methods applied in each production facility. The normal frequency of these verifications shall be once every two years.

The holder minimum requirements for conformity of the approval production control procedures set forth in Annex 14 to this Regulation shall ensure that for each type of vehicle at least the tests concerning the taking of measurements are carried outbe complied with. 8.39.3. The Type Approval Authority authority which has granted type type-approval may at any time verify the conformity control methods applied in each production facility. The normal frequency of these verifications shall be once every two yearstwice a year.

In this case, suitable controls mean checking the dimensions of the product as well as the existence of procedures for the effective control of the quality of products. 8.3. The Type Approval Authority competent authority which has granted type approval the Type Approval may at any time verify the conformity control methods applied in applicable to each production facilityunit and carry out on samples any test deemed necessary among the tests carried out for the approval. The normal frequency of these verifications shall be once every two yearsa year.
