Common use of Construction Approval Clause in Contracts

Construction Approval. ‌ Final design and construction documents shall be submitted to the Public Works Department for review and approval for all new sanitary infrastructures and any proposed connection(s) to existing City sewer. Approval will not be granted until the City is satisfied that any requested design modifications have been made. The design submittal shall include all drawings, specifications and supporting calculations needed to verify that the proposed sewer collection system aligns with the concepts approved in the Development Review process and meets the City’s design standards as specified herein. Proposed infrastructure agreements between the Developer and the City regarding cost sharing, advance financing, utilization of SDC credits, etc. shall be presented in written form and signed by all parties prior to Construction Approval.
