Construction Industry Advancement Program. Each Employer covered by this Agreement, including non-AGC members, shall pay to the Construction Industry Advancement Program (CIAP) an amount as stated in Article VII – Wages and Fringe Benefits, per hour for each hour paid by the Employer to his Employees pursuant to this Collective Bargaining Agreement. Construction Industry Advancement amounts may be changed by the Association and Employers at their discretion on any anniversary date of the Agreement. Payment shall be made with such instructions and on such forms as are furnished by the Program. Delinquent contributions shall be subject to such penalties or assessments as the Program may prescribe from time to time.
Construction Industry Advancement Program. The Employer and the Union agree to and approve the establishment of a Construction Industry Advancement Program to promote the common good of the construction industry by providing financial support for activities which may include, but not necessarily be restricted to: 1 promotion of safety 2 market development 3 protection of legitimate markets 4 public relations 5 industry relations 6 collection and distribution of information from and to all segments of the construction industry and related groups or authorities 7 to promote, encourage and advocate needed and helpful legislation for our industry, for the general good of all 8 education and training 9 research into new methods and materials
Construction Industry Advancement Program. One (1) check to the Glens Falls National Bank for payment of contributions to: (1) Glens Falls Painters Pension Fund One (1) check payable to the IUPAT Industry Pension Fund for payment of contributions to: (1) The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades Industry Pension Fund (for Pension and Annuity Plans); One (1) check payable to the Painting Industry Insurance Fund for payment of contributions to: (1) Painting Industry Insurance Fund; (2) District Council No. 9 Finishing Trades Institute of New York and International Union of Painters Allied Trades Finishing Trades Institute; (3) IUPAT Labor Management Cooperation Initiative; (4) IUPAT Political Action Together; (5) Dues Check off; (6) Construction Industry Advancement Program.
Construction Industry Advancement Program. Each Employer signatory to this agreement agrees to pay into the Construction Industry Advancement Program Trust Fund (CIAP) $.10 for each hour worked by all employees covered by this Agreement an amount as specified in Article XVII of the Wage Schedule in this Agreement. Each Employer signatory to this Agreement shall pay to the Construction Industry Advancement Program Trust Fund (CIAP) cents per hour as shown on the Remittance report for each hour worked by the Employer to their employees within the bargaining unit. Payment shall be made with such instructions and on such forms as are furnished by the Trustees. Delinquent contributions shall be subject to such penalties or assessments as the Trustees may prescribe from time to time. It is agreed by the Employer that the Construction Industry Advancement Program Trust Fund shall not be used for lobbying in support of anti-labor legislation of any kind at municipal, state or national levels or to subsidize any Contractor or Contractor Association in connection with any work stoppage or strike, nor shall it be used to support any anti-union activity. The Trustees of said program shall comply with all present and future Federal Laws Governing the same. The Union shall have no participation or control of any kind or degree whatever, nor shall the Union be connected in any way whatever with the Construction Industry Advancement Program. Construction Industry Advancement Program. The Employer shall contribute to the Construction In- dustry Advancement Fund as required by the schedule of contributions at Article 18 hereof. These contribu- tions shall be paid to the Administrator at the same time and together with other contributions made by the Employer for said benefit funds. The Administra- tor shall receive and deposit the Construction Industry Advancement Program monies in a separate account, and, on a monthly basis, after deducting a reasonable amount to defray administration costs, pay the balance to the Construction Industry Advancement Program, heretofore established and administered by Trustees appointed by the several multi-employer Associations. These monies shall be utilized by said Trustees solely for the advancement, improvement and betterment of the industry covered by this Agreement so as to improve conditions and increase opportunity for em- ployment. It is agreed and understood that the Program will not be used for any anti-union purposes, that the Trustees of 472-172 Funds shall receive minutes of all Construction Industry Advancement Program Meetings and that the collection of contributions is conditioned at all times upon approval of the Trustees of 472-172 Funds established under Article 33 and 34 herein. The said Trustees shall be permitted to attend Con- struction Industry Advancement Program meetings as nonvoting observers. The collection of contributions is conditioned upon these understandings.
