Common use of Construction Means, Methods Clause in Contracts

Construction Means, Methods. The Owner shall have no control over or charge of, and shall not be responsible for, construction means, methods, techniques, sequences or procedures, or for safety precautions or programs, in connection with the Work, all of which are the sole responsibility of the Contractor. However, the Owner may consult with the Contractor on such matters and the Contractor will consider such matters in its reasonable judgment. The Contractor acknowledges and agrees with the Owner’s commitment to safety and acknowledges the Owner’s expectation of the compliance by the Contractor and its Subcontractors in relation to the same.
