Common use of Construction Time Schedule Clause in Contracts

Construction Time Schedule. The Architect shall prepare for the Owner a detailed estimated time schedule for the construction phase of the project prepared as a network analysis system of the CPM type for planning, control and scheduling of work performed. This estimated time schedule of construction will be presented by the Architect to the Owner in the final review meeting and shall establish the estimated construction duration. The Architect shall furnish one copy of the estimated time schedule to the Owner. However, it is recognized that neither the Architect nor the Owner has absolute control over the means and methods that the Contractor uses to execute the project.

This estimated time schedule of construction will be presented by the Architect Engineer to the Owner in the final 30%, 60% and 90% design review meeting and shall establish submittals establishing the estimated construction duration. The Architect Engineer shall furnish one copy of the estimated time schedule to the Owner. However, it is recognized that neither the Architect Engineer nor the Owner has absolute control over the means and methods that the Contractor uses to execute the project.
