Common use of CONSULTATION AND NEGOTIATIONS Clause in Contracts

CONSULTATION AND NEGOTIATIONS. Section 5.1. It is agreed and understood that the District and the Union have a mutual obligation to meet at reasonable times, to confer and negotiate in good faith and to execute a written agreement with the respect to grievances procedures and collective bargaining on personnel matters, including wages, hours and working conditions. Section 5.2. Both the District and the Union recognize that all agreements reached though the negotiations process are tentative until ratified by the Board and the Union. Section 5.3. In the event that reductions in the number of employees or hours assigned are required, the Union shall be consulted. Section 5.4. The Union will, from time to time, as appropriate, be advised with regard to predicted workload and pricing change information. Section 5.5. Evaluation forms which are used by the District for recording and conducting employee evaluation shall be furnished to the Union. Such forms shall be amended, altered, or new forms created, only after consultation with the Union.
