Common use of CONSUMER PRECAUTIONS Clause in Contracts

CONSUMER PRECAUTIONS. (a) The consumer shall install, own, and maintain all plumbing and equipment beyond the point of delivery except special facilities installed or furnished by the Cooperative. The consumer’s plumbing shall conform to applicable municipal, borough or local, and state requirements, the Cooperative’s Tariff, Cooperative standards and accepted modern standards as exemplified by the National Standard Plumbing Code. (b) The Cooperative reserves the right to refuse service or discontinue service to consumers who do not meet these requirements.
