Common use of Consumer Rights Clause in Contracts

Consumer Rights. The parties reaffirm that under the statute and ordinance establishing the Public Authority, IHSS Recipients (Consumers) have the sole and undisputed right to: a) Hire Independent Providers of their choice, with full disclosure of relevant information on registry referrals; b) Remove providers from their service at will and without appeal; c) Determine in advance and under all circumstances who may or may not enter their homes; d) Manage, supervise, and direct the Independent Providers assisting them.
