Contact Time a) The student contact time assigned in any school year to any member, whether such time is in a teaching, consultative, or supervisory role, shall not, without the consent of the Association, be greater than 5% above the average student contact time assigned to members in each of Elementary, Junior High and Senior High, by the Division (former Fort Xxxxx) during the school year of September 1999 to June 2000.
Contact Time. All employees’ direct classroom pupil contact hours shall be sufficient to meet state law and regulations. Classroom contact hours shall be exclusive of the time required to be spent for preparation, conferences, staff meetings, or any other non- classroom instructional duties. Part-time employees shall have a proportionate amount of pupil classroom contact time.
Contact Time. Each Bidder shall indicate on the bid Form, the number of consecutive calendar days he anticipates to substantially complete the Work from the date of the Notice to Proceed.

A middle school and high school teacher's normal student contact time per day will be five contact periods in a six period day, and will not normally exceed 250 contact minutes per day, except as otherwise stipulated in Article XVIII, Section 19. Student contact time needed for attendance taking and announcements is exempt from the provisions of this paragraph. This period of time will be no more than ten minutes.
Contact Time. Student contact time shall be defined as time spent supervising students for the purposes of instruction or safety during normal student hours. Every effort shall be made to keep at a minimum classroom interruption that infringes on the time allotment. These limitations shall not be construed to preclude additional member assignments for supervision of halls during passing times, recesses, playground, buses, or homerooms. The remaining time shall be used for planning, preparation, conferences and participation in meetings called by District or building administrators.
