Continuation of Benefit Premiums. When a teacher is on an approved leave of absence, he/she may elect to maintain participation in all benefits; however, the full premium cost shall be paid by the teacher subject to carrier conditions. When a teacher is on Deferred Salary Leave he/she must maintain participation in all benefits and the full premium cost shall be paid by the teacher subject to carrier conditions.
