Continued Authorization. You authorize us to check your account, credit, and employment history, and obtain reports from third parties, including credit reporting agencies. This will help us determine if you continue to meet your eligibility for account(s) at HVCU and/or in connection with making future credit opportunities available to you. Further, you authorize HVCU to give information concerning our experience with you to others.

Continued Authorization. Following the initial authorization, the University will retain the discretion to revoke authority of a campus police officer to carry a firearm for any reason, including failure to successfully complete continued training, failure to follow proper procedures, misconduct on or off duty, or any other factor that leads the Chief to question whether it is in the best interest of the community that the officer be armed. In the event that the University revokes a campus police officer’s authorization to carry a firearm while on duty, the following will apply.

Continued Authorization. Authorized Monitoring Committees, and the procedures they adopt, are subject to periodic review by the Central Council to ensure that they continue to comply with agreed standards. They must immediately notify the Central Council of any material changes in education provision, accreditation/recognition systems and registration/licensure requirements to those which were approved for initial authorization, or of any other significant developments concerning the professional recognition of architects in their economies that might conflict with Council policy. A Monitoring Committee whose authorization has been suspended by the Central Council because it no longer conforms with APEC Architect criteria may, with reason, request an independent review of the decision.

  • Designation and Authorization 1. Each Party shall have the right to designate as many airlines as it wishes to conduct international air transportation in accordance with this Agreement and to withdraw or alter such designations. Such designations shall be transmitted to the other Party in writing through diplomatic channels, and shall identify whether the airline is authorized to conduct the type of air transportation specified in Annex I or in Annex II or both.

  • Leave Authorization The employee's request and the Co-operative's decision concerning all leaves of absence referred to in this article shall be made in writing.

  • Authority and Authorization Each of the Consultants has full power and authority to enter into this Plan and carry out the obligations hereunder. Execution of this Plan and performance by the Consultants hereunder constitutes a valid and binding obligation of the Consultants and performance hereunder will not violate any other agreement to which any of the Consultants is a party.

  • Authorization, Etc This Agreement and the Notes have been duly authorized by all necessary corporate action on the part of the Company, and this Agreement constitutes, and upon execution and delivery thereof each Note will constitute, a legal, valid and binding obligation of the Company enforceable against the Company in accordance with its terms, except as such enforceability may be limited by (i) applicable bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, moratorium or other similar laws affecting the enforcement of creditors’ rights generally and (ii) general principles of equity (regardless of whether such enforceability is considered in a proceeding in equity or at law).

  • Corporate Authorization The execution, delivery and performance by Parent and Merger Subsidiary of this Agreement and the consummation by Parent and Merger Subsidiary of the transactions contemplated hereby are within the corporate powers of Parent and Merger Subsidiary and have been duly authorized by all necessary corporate action. This Agreement constitutes a valid and binding agreement of each of Parent and Merger Subsidiary.

  • Prior Authorization A determination to authorize a Provider’s request, pursuant to services covered in the MississippiCAN Program, to provide a service or course of treatment of a specific duration and scope to a Member prior to the initiation or continuation of the service.

  • Card Information Updates and Authorizations If you have authorized a merchant to xxxx charges to your card on a recurring basis, it is your responsibility to notify the merchant in the event your card is replaced, your card information (such as card number and expiration date) changes, or the account associated with your card is closed. However, if your card is replaced or card information changes, you authorize us, without obligation on our part, to provide the updated card information to the merchant in order to permit the merchant to xxxx recurring charges to the card. You authorize us to apply such recurring charges to the card until you notify us that you have revoked authorization for the charges to your card. Your card is automatically enrolled in an information updating service. Through this service, your updated card information (such as card number and expiration date) may be shared with participating merchants to facilitate continued recurring charges. Updates are not guaranteed before your next payment to a merchant is due. You are responsible for making direct payment until recurring charges resume. To revoke your authorization allowing us to provide updated card information to a merchant, please contact us.

  • Authorization Holds You do not have the right to stop payment on any purchase transaction originated by use of your Mobile Wallet, other than transactions withing the Mobile Wallet Marketplace that display a cancel transaction button. When you use your Mobile Wallet to pay for goods or services, certain merchants may ask us to authorize the transaction in advance and the merchant may estimate its final value. When you use your Mobile Wallet to obtain cash at an ATM or from a bank teller, we will authorize the transaction in advance (including all applicable fees). When we authorize a purchase transaction, we commit to make the requested funds available when the transaction finally settles, and the Bank will place a temporary hold on your Mobile Wallet’s funds for the amount indicated by the merchant. If you authorize a transaction and then fail to make a purchase of that item as planned, the approval may result in a hold for that amount of funds. Car rentals, hotels and other service-oriented merchants may choose to factor in additional amounts upon check-in, and it may take up to sixty (60) days after your stay or your rental to have any excess amounts held by the hotel or rental company added back to your available balance. Similarly, some gas stations may factor in additional amounts to cover potential filling of the tank; if you want to avoid such a hold, you may want to pay inside the gas station, instead of paying at the pump. Until the transaction finally settles, the funds subject to the hold will not be available to you for other purposes. We will only charge your Mobile Wallet for the correct amount of the final transaction, and we will release any excess amount when the transaction finally settles. When you use your Mobile Wallet at certain restaurants and service-oriented merchants, there may be an additional 20% (or more) added to the authorization to cover any tip you may leave on the purchase. If this occurs, and your total bill, after adding in the additional 20% (or more), exceeds the amount available on your Mobile Wallet, your transactions may be declined. Accordingly, you should ensure that your Mobile Wallet has an available balance that is 20% (or more) greater than your total bill before using your Mobile Wallet.

  • AUTHORIZATION AND CONSENT The Government has given its authorization and consent for all use and manufacture of any invention described in and covered by a patent of the United States in the performance of this Agreement or any part hereof or any amendment hereto or any subcontract hereunder (including any lower-tier subcontract) which is expected to exceed $100,000.
