CONTRACT TERM - RENEWAL. A. The contract resulting from this Invitation for Bids shall commence effective upon issuance of a term contract by the County and extend for a period of one (1) year. The contract may be renewed for four (4) additional one (1) year periods, upon mutual agreement of both parties. If any such renewal results in changes in the terms and conditions, such changes shall be reduced to writing as an amendment to this contract and such amendment shall be executed by both parties. B. The initiating County department(s) shall issue delivery orders against the term contract on an “as needed” basis. C. Any order issued during the effective period of this contract, but not completed within that period, shall be completed by the Contractor within the time specified in the order. The contract shall govern the Contractor’s and the County’s rights and obligations with respect to that order to the extent as if the order were completed during the contract performance period.
