Contract Waiver Requests. Proposals must conform to the VUEA/VUSD Collective Bargaining Agreement, unless a waiver is granted in accordance with the procedures outlined in this Article. Waivers of State and Federal laws, district policies, and/or Personnel Commission Rules and Regulations are not permitted. The following Articles in the VUEA/VUSD Collective Bargaining Agreement shall not be eligible for a waiver: Recognition, Evaluation, Salary Schedule and Benefits, Assignment and Transfers, Management Rights, Association Rights, Professional Dues & Payroll Deduction, Grievance, Discipline and Non-Discrimination.
