CONTRACTING WITH SMALL AND MINORITY BUSINESSES. (a) If the Sub-Recipient, with the funds authorized by this Agreement, seeks to procure goods or services, then, in accordance with 2 C.F.R. § 200.321 and Section 288.703, Florida Statutes, the Sub-Recipient shall take the following affirmative steps to assure that minority businesses, women’s business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are used whenever possible: i. Placing qualified small and minority businesses and women's business enterprises on solicitation lists; ii. Assuring that small and minority businesses, and women's business enterprises are solicited whenever they are potential sources; iii. Dividing total requirements, when economically feasible, into smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum participation by small and minority businesses, and women's business enterprises;

(a) The Seller and Purchaser (as applicable) must take all necessary affirmative steps to assure that minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are used when possible. (b) Affirmative steps must include: (1) Placing qualified small and minority businesses and women's business enterprises on solicitation lists; (2) Assuring that small and minority businesses, and women's business enterprises are solicited whenever they are potential sources; (3) Dividing total requirements, when economically feasible, into smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum participation by small and minority businesses, and women's business enterprises;

Placing qualified small and minority businesses and women's business enterprises on solicitation lists; 29.2.1.2. Assuring that small and minority businesses, and women's business enterprises are solicited whenever they are potential sources; 29.2.1.3. Dividing total requirements, when economically feasible, into smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum participation by small and minority businesses, and women's business enterprises;

  • Certified and Minority Business Enterprises Reports Upon Customer request, the Contractor shall report to the requesting Customer the Contractor’s spend with certified and other minority business enterprises in the provision of commodities or services related to the Customer’s orders. These reports shall include the period covered, the name, minority code, and Federal Employer Identification Number of each minority business utilized during the period; commodities and services provided by the minority business enterprise, and the amount paid to each minority business enterprise on behalf of the Customer.

  • MANAGEMENT OF THE BUSINESS Pursuant to Section 00-00-000 of the Act, and as stated in its Articles, the Company’s day to day affairs are managed by the Member. The Member is responsible for the daily operations of the business.
