Common use of Contractor Certifications Clause in Contracts

Contractor Certifications. Contractor represents and warrants to the City that it will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Contractor agrees to post in conspicuous places, available to employees and applicants for employment, notices setting forth the provisions of this nondiscrimination clause; and Contractor will state, in all solicitations or advertisements for employees placed by or on behalf of Contractor, that all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Moreover, Contractor understands and agrees that terms defined in IND. CODE § 22-5-1.7 et seq. are adopted and incorporated into this Section 8, and pursuant to IND. CODE § 22-5-1.7 et seq., Contractor covenants to enroll in and verify the work eligibility status of all of its employees using the E-Verify program, if it has not already done so as of the Execution Date. Within ten (10) days after the Effective Date, Contractor shall execute the affidavit included as Exhibit C affirming that: (a) it is enrolled and is participating in the E-Verify program; and
